Aims & Characteristics

Programme Aims

The programme aims to provide a unique educational opportunity for top-performing undergraduate students, offering them flexible learning pathways and curriculum options, personalised coaching and in-depth mentorship. It aims to nurture outstanding individuals, allowing them to excel academically across various disciplines with guaranteed outside-classroom and non-local learning opportunities. The initiative encourages an innovative and interest-driven approach to education and is specifically designed for high-achieving students, including those in Manpower-planned (MPP) programmes.

 

Characteristics

This university scheme allows students to study what they are truly interested in and passionate about. Unlike any other programmes, they have the flexibility to design their own Major by following a structured curriculum framework for interdisciplinary studies. This approach encourages interdisciplinary learning and fosters a sense of ownership, creativity and scholarship among students.

Entrance Requirements

Satisfy the University's General Entrance Requirements.

 

Applicants are required to attain:

  • an IB score of 40 or above out of 45 in International Baccalaureate (IB); or
  • at least 3A*+1A in A-Level qualifications.

Note: Other equivalent qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
