Master of Design (Intelligent Systems Design)

To combat congestion and explore alternative transportation options, an ambitious project aims to establish an intelligent 4D urban transportation system. This innovative system integrates a specialized low-altitude transportation network for flying cars within the existing infrastructure. By incorporating time as the fourth parameter in the existing 3D traffic system, it enables accurate predictions and future planning.

The management of this cutting-edge transportation system relies on advanced digital twin technology, offering sophisticated solutions to alleviate the strain on conventional transportation infrastructure. The primary objectives of this project are to optimize transportation efficiency, mitigate congestion, and surpass the limitations of traditional transportation systems.

As the demand for efficient and eco-friendly transportation options grows, flying cars have emerged as a viable solution. Over the next decade, flying cars are expected to enter the mainstream, providing enhanced commuting, passenger transportation, short-distance trips, and even medical rescue operations within cities. Car companies will adapt by leveraging user feedback and conducting simulations using digital twins to enhance the flying experience and ensure overall safety.

Cities will also embrace this trend by developing the necessary infrastructure and conducting simulations to predict future scenarios, allowing them to effectively accommodate and capitalize on the emergence of flying cars.
