Summary
In this seminar, Kam explores why artistic fundamentals and advanced production knowledge remain essential in the age of AI, especially within marketing and creative industries.
Across the creative pipeline, strong fundamentals and artistry form the backbone of effective visual communication. While AI can accelerate parts of the production process, it cannot replace creative judgment, purpose-driven thinking, or the skills required to produce industry-ready work. Without these foundations, AI-generated outputs risk lacking clarity, consistency, and commercial value.
Students will learn how creativity guided by intent, combined with both fundamental and advanced techniques across the full production vertical, enables artists to transform AI-assisted outputs into polished 3D assets and visuals suitable for real-world marketing, branding, and advertising applications. Positioned at the intersection of creativity, technology, and industry practice, this session presents AI as a creative enabler rather than a replacement. By exploring the full pipeline from concept to final delivery, the talk equips students to use AI responsibly, maintain originality, and remain competitive in today’s fast-evolving creative and commercial landscape.
