Biography

Professor Anthony Kong is an Assistant Professor at School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, specializing in Entertainment Arts and Design Engineering. With extensive expertise in the interdisciplinary fields of design, technology, and service, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. Before joining PolyU Design, Prof Kong held positions as Associate Director, Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer at Hong Kong Design Institute, Course Director at Coventry University in Hong Kong, Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer at Saint Franics University. He also taught at City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, and Vocational Training Council.

His research interests lie in the interdisciplinary area of Entertainment Arts & Design (e.g., AI for Entertainment, Cultural Arts Technology, Design for Hospitality & Tourism, Design for Sports, Edutainment and X-Reality).
