Professional Recognition

The MOT programme has been accredited by the World Federation of Occupational Therapist (WFOT), which is recognised for training practitioners of international standard.

MOT graduates are eligible to apply for registration by the Occupational Therapists Board of Hong Kong.

Career Prospects

Our graduates have a high rate of employment, with wide work-setting options ranging from acute care hospitals, special schools and homes for the elderly to community settings and private practice.

Occupational therapists can specialise in different rehabilitation areas, take upmanagerial positions or be involved in clinical education and research. Opportunities for higher degree studies at the MPhil and PhD levels are also available.
