岑教授是一位神经心理学家，在正常和脑损伤儿童和成人的高级认知功能（例如注意力，记忆力和执行功能）的评估和康复方面拥有超过30年的经验。他发表了许多神经心理学测试，如前瞻记忆综合评估和澳洲逆行性记忆测试，并且还进行了许多随机对照试验，评估培训/干预对大脑功能的有效性。岑教授获得澳洲研究委员会，澳洲国家健康与医学研究委员会和香港研究资助局等资助机构颁发的超过25项国家和国际竞争性拨款。他出版了4本书，1本编着的书，8本书章，235多篇期刊论文和6个百科全书条目。岑教授受邀在许多国际会议上展示他的研究成果，他亦是Neuropsychological Rehabilitation和PsyChJournal等国际期刊的编辑委员会成员。 2015年，岑教授被任命为中国科学院心理研究所心理健康重点实验室名誉学术顾问。 2017年，他被任命为中国科学院心理研究所的特聘客座研究员。
