18 Sep 2018

Department of Rehabilitation Sciences (RS) is proud to announce that a number of Year 1 students of BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy (PT) and BSc(Hons) in Occupational Therapy (OT) have been awarded with various scholarships in the Academic Year 2018-19.

A total of 173 RS freshmen admitted through JUPAS have been awarded the Entry Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievements (64 for OT and 109 for PT).  One of the PT students, also the only one student among the whole university, has been granted the highest amount of scholarship with a result of Level 5** in 5 subjects or above in HKDSE.

Out of the total of 23 student awardees who have been awarded with the Entry Scholarship for outstanding IB results, RS takes up 13 of them, with 5 from OT and 8 from PT.

RS is the only department with local non-JUPAS admittees being awarded with the Entry Scholarship for Outstanding GCE Results. All the two awarded students are from OT.

5 students (2 from OT and 3 from PT) receive the Entry Scholarship for Outstanding Non-Academic Achievements.
