Summary

A delegation from Jinjiang Government visited Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence in Design (AiDLab) and Centre for Eye and Vision Research (CEVR) to explore opportunities for sharing and exchange on 26 June 2023. 
Prof Wing-tak WONG, Deputy President and Provost of PolyU, welcomed the delegation and shared the university’s latest research excellence and technology development. He has also made discussion with the delegate on academia, government and industry collaboration.

During their visit, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussion with researchers from AiDLab and CEVR, and shared insights and toured the research facilities, with deep impression on the Centres. 
 
About AiDLab
In collaboration with the Royal College of Art, UK, PolyU established the AiDLab under the AIR@InnoHK cluster to integrate innovative AI technologies into design to address society's needs for creativity, efficiency and customisation of products and services. AiDLab is the first research platform that focuses on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with design.
 
About CEVR

Under the Health@InnoHK cluster, CEVR has been set up as a joint partnership between PolyU and the University of Waterloo, Canada. CEVR promotes eye health with clinical, basic and applied research, and develops ground-breaking technologies to prevent vision loss and preserve sight among the ageing population.
