Prof. Xiaopeng Xue

Dr. Xue received his Bachelor and Master degreeat Harbin Institute of Technology in 2004 and 2008 respectively, and PhD from Department of Aerospace Engineering at Nagoya University, Japan in 2013. After graduation, He worked at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as Postdoc from December 2013 to April 2014, and then worked at Technical University of Munich, Germany as a Research Fellow from May 2014 to April 2015. In September 2015, He joined School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Central South University as Assistant Professor, and was then promoted to Associate Professor in 2017. He is now serving as a member of editorial board for a journal and professional board related to the Aerospace Engineering.

His current research interest include:

  • High speed flows;
  • Computational fluid-structure interaction for compressible flows
  • Mars landing supersonic parachute simulation
  • Porous medium flow simulation
