The Orchestra will perform under the batons of renowned musicians Mr Leung Kin-fung and Mr Alex Tam respectively. They will first present a repertoire of Italian opera - “La Forza del Destino” (The Force of Destiny) by Giuseppe Verdi, followed by Austrian composer Franz Schubert’s “Symphony No. 9 in C major, D944, The Great”. They will then be joined by the PolyU Choir to perform a medley arranged by Mr Ng Cheuk-yin of Cantonese popular songs of the past eight decades, as well as choral works “Dirait-On” and “The Joy of Snowflake”.
