“We can go beyond our limits.” – PolyU student-athletes share how they make the best out of their university life
Many elite athletes exhibit unique personality traits such as a strong sense of motivation, a desire to excel, self-discipline, as well as the ability to manage stress. These traits help them succeed not only in their sport, but also in their studies and personal development. PolyU is committed to nurturing outstanding student-athletes by providing all-rounded support. More than 1,000 athletes from the Hong Kong team or junior squad have been admitted to PolyU under the Outstanding Sportsmen Recommendation Scheme since its inception in 1998.
