Geotechnical engineering expert inducted into AIT’s hall of fame
Prof. Chau Kam-tim, Chair Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at PolyU’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a graduate of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), has been inducted into his alma mater’s Hall of Fame for his distinguished accomplishments. The induction ceremony was presided by Her Royal Highness Thai Princess Sirindhorn.
The AIT Hall of Fame, established in 2010, honours the accomplishments and contributions of senior alumni and others who bring pride and inspiration to their professions, society and the Institute. Prof. Chau is the first Hall of Famer from Hong Kong and the youngest among the 21 inductees since its establishment.
