PolyU signed an agreement with industry partners CASICloud and Altai Technologies Limited to establish the Greater Bay Area Industrial Big Data Joint Laboratory on PolyU campus and a branch lab in Guangzhou. The collaboration will pool the three parties’ resources and expertise to accelerate the adoption and development of industrial big data in the Greater Bay Area. 

 

Under the agreement, the joint laboratory will spearhead research on industrial big data, artificial intelligence, industrial internet-of-things and industrial safety, as well as foster the commercialisation of research results and training of research talents for the industry.
