Prof. HE Mingguang, Member of the Research Centre for SHARP Vision (RCSV) and Chair Professor of Experimental Ophthalmology in the School of Optometry, has been named in the Ophthalmologist Power List 2023, which recognises the 100 most influential and inspirational individuals worldwide who have demonstrated “Ten Years of Excellence and Impact in Ophthalmology”.
The Ophthalmologist Power List has been published annually since 2014 and invites nominations from across the globe. The named individuals were selected by an independent panel of 15 world-renowned ophthalmologists, for their excellence and impact in one or more of six areas: research, innovation, teaching and mentoring, progressing practice, communication and advocacy, and humanitarianism.
