Summary

How Might We Co-Create an Intergenerational Health Lab that Bridges PolyU’s Academic Strengths and Community Care?

The Research Institute for Smart Ageing (RISA) and the Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation (J.C.DISI) cordially invite you to a joint Research Salon to explore a strategic collaboration at KEyPoint in Kai Tak.
In partnership with the Community CareAge Foundation (CCAF) and Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS), we are developing an Intergenerational Health Hub designed to serve local residents. This salon provides a forum for PolyU researchers to discuss how this community health lab can function as:

  • A Practical Testbed for Academic Research: To develop and validate sustainable community health solutions.
  • A Knowledge Transfer Platform: To facilitate the implementation of research findings into real-world practices.
  • A Structured Student Practicum: To offer hands-on learning opportunities for a future-ready workforce.

We look forward to exploring how our collective academic expertise can be translated into sustainable wellness solutions that positively impact the community.
