香港理工大学体育科技研究院成立典礼

香港理工大学 (理大) 体育科技研究院成立典礼于2月24日顺利举行，吸引了超过200名理大教职员、学生、校友、运动员、业界伙伴及各界朋友出席。 成立仪式由前香港奥运单车选手黄金宝先生（阿宝）、副校长（教育）黄国贤教授、高等研究院院长陈清焰教授、体育科技研究院院长张明教授、高等研究院副院长李鹂教授、体育科技研究院副院长范金土教授、符少娥教授和温志涌教授等主礼嘉宾一同主持。

香港理工大学高等研究院于2023年2月9日成功举办杰出学人讲座。是次以「我的四十年天文科研旅程」为题的网上讲座由诺贝尔物理学奖得主丶马克斯．普朗克地外物理研究所所长兼科学家赖因哈德·根策尔教授主讲

「PAIR 沙龍」首度舉行

理大高等研究院 (PAIR) 于 2023 年新设了「PAIR 沙龙」活动系列，旨在鼓励与业界合作和促进知识转移。

智能可穿戴系統研究院在2023年2月10日舉行了第五場研討會（只有英文版本）

The seminar featured talks by two speakers included presentations and discussions. The first speaker, Prof. Li Zhang, from the Department of Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), presented on the topic of Miniature origami robots and flexible devices for endoluminal applications. The second speaker, Dr Shiming Zhang, an Assistant Professor from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), presented on the topic of Scalable manufacturing of soft bioelectronics: materials, devices, and applications.

BME、RIAIoT 和 RISports舉辦傑出演講者系列講座

美國科學院院士、工程院院士、中國工程院外籍院士David WEITZ教授於 2023 年 1 月 11 日於理大發表題為“Droplet-templated materials with microfluidics”的傑出演講者系列講座。是次講座由生物醫學工程學系 (BME)、人工智能物聯網研究院 (RIAIoT) 和體育科技研究院 (RISports) 聯合舉辦，吸引了來自理大和內地院校及業界共約 200 名人士參加。

Dr WANG Yulun, Fellow at Teladoc Health and Co-founder and Chairman of World Telehealth Initiative and Maxcess Health, delivered the PAIR Public Lecture titled “An Entrepreneur’s Perspective on Surgical Robotics and Telemedicine, and their Convergence” in hybrid mode on 10 January 2023

CMA x PolyU Forum Artificial Intelligence of Things and Intelligent Wearable Systems (只有英文版本)

Keynote speaker Prof. Feng YAN, Professor of the Department of Applied Physics, and Associate Director of the Research Institute for Intelligent Wearable Systems (RI-IWEAR), shared PolyU’s recent research on Flexible Organic Biosensors. This research aims to provide high-performance, low cost organic bioelectronic devices with medical and healthcare applications.

President of Westlake University, Prof. SHI Yigong delivers the PAIR Distinguished Lecture (只有英文版本)

President Shi began the lecture by providing a brief historical background about China’s education reform in the 1970s—millions of Chinese students enjoyed the new opportunities for overseas education brought by China’s reform and opening up, and students returned home with the knowledge that significantly impacted China’s development in education, science, and technology.

融入大湾区与国家创科论坛暨科技及创新政策研究中心开幕典礼完满举行

理大于十一月二十四日成功举办「融入大湾区与国家创科论坛暨科技及创新政策研究中心（PReCIT）开幕典礼」。近 300 名师生、校友、嘉宾，以及创科、金融和学术领袖出席盛会，就香港如何积极融入国家发展规划交流意见。
