Bad Weather Arrangements

Typhoon Signal No. 1 or 3 / Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning |
Unless otherwise notified, all activities will be held as scheduled. |

Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning / “Extreme Conditions” |
If the signal is lowered / the warning or “extreme conditions” are cancelled before 06.30 AM
|
The orientation activities will be held as scheduled. |
|
If the signal / warning / “extreme conditions” are hoisted or in force
|
The orientation activities will be rescheduled to take place from 05.00 PM to 06.15 PM on the contingency day. |

Arrangements for activities ALREADY started |

Arrangements will be made to release students as soon as possible.
|

Black Rainstorm Warning |
As advised by the Government, people should take shelter in a safe place when the Black Rainstorm Warning is in force. Activities will continue unless otherwise announced.
If the warning is still in force when the activities end, students are advised to stay on campus for their own safety until the warning has been cancelled or the traffic conditions have improved.
