PolyU Student Orientation 2026

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) hosts its annual President’s Welcome in late August. 

Prof. Jin-Guang TENG, President of PolyU, will welcome all freshmen to the PolyU family and introduce the University’s rich history and its mission to nurture socially responsible professionals and leaders with a strong sense of national pride and a global perspective.  It will also feature a variety of sharing and performance sessions.

Following the President's Welcome on 27 August 2026, the excitement continues at the Orientation Showcase on 1 September 2026 at the Shaw Sports Complex.

The event will feature over 40 booths organised by various administrative units, student-led clubs and societies. It offers a wonderful opportunity for new students to explore PolyU's diverse support services, co-curricular activities, and campus life, while interacting with staff and senior students – helping you gear up for an amazing PolyU journey.
