A series of workshops on IT skills for Future of Work and Research will be conducted in February 2023 with topics on Machine Learning and Neural Networks, game development, 3D modelling, Augmented Reality (AR) Applications and Excel Macro. Students are welcome to enrol to gain hands-on experience.

A timer app is ready for Zoom class activities now

To enhance staff and students’ teaching and learning experience, the Zoom Timer App is now available in Zoom for lecture capture and hybrid teaching delivery usage. The Zoom Timer App is a new feature that is a countdown and alarm to remind instructor of remaining time to go. It is very handy and useful for timing the duration of student presentations and other class activities as well.

Identity Portal – Gateway for managing your PolyU online identity

The PolyU NetID (Network Identity) is the key to use University’s IT facilities and services. It is a unique personal identifier and is made up of a single username and password pair, named as NetID and NetPassword respectively. With the NetID, users can access the University’s online facilities including University Portal, eLearning Platform, Wi-Fi and other network facilities and services, etc.
