IT Online ServiceDesk is now available

As communicated in the May issue of ITS eNewsletter, the new ‘IT Online ServiceDesk’ platform for logging and tracking IT-related support requests is now in service to replace HelpCentre Online Tracking Service (HOTS) from late June.

New modules of the IT Security Online Training Course for staff and students are now available on LEARN@PolyU. The new modules will cover security tips on using a Cloud Service and the best protection against Ransomware.

New features on LEARN@PolyU platform

The user interface of LEARN@PolyU has been updated in late May to provide students and teaching staff with a consistent user experience across devices with different form factors.

Relocation of MS Teams recordings

Starting from 1 June 2021, MS Teams meeting recordings will be saved to OneDrive for Business or SharePoint depending on the meeting type. All recordings were previously stored in Microsoft Stream.
