Are you ready for a thrilling experience just before the semester starts that combines hands-on reinforcement learning model application and exciting competition?
Look no further than enroll to participate in the AWS DeepRacer competition on Monday 28 August 2023 at AWS Office in Causeway Bay.
You will be able to learn the basics of machine learning and have opportunities to build, train and evaluate your own reinforcement learning models in team. Your team can deploy your optimized reinforcement model first to a 3D racing simulator and then to an autonomous 1/18th scale DeepRacer Car with built-in LIDARs/ sensors to compete over racing track.
Come and experiment how multiple sensors input, reinforcement learning algorithms and neural network configurations applied to simulation and to real domain transfer methods.
This event is open to all PolyU students, with limited seats of 30, registration is on a first come, first served basis. You don't need any prior experience with machine learning to get started, as AWS DeepRacer provides on-line tutorials to guide you through the process.
