Objective

This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the powerful capabilities of Adobe Photoshop. The main goal is to familiarize beginners with the essential tools, core concepts, and basic workflow for editing digital images and creating simple graphic designs, empowering them to start their own creative projects.

What you will learn

By the end of this hands-on workshop, you will be able to:

• Navigate the Adobe Photoshop workspace, including the toolbar, panels, and menus.
• Understand and use layers for non-destructive editing.
• Use basic selection tools to isolate and edit parts of an image.
• Perform essential photo corrections (brightness, contrast, color).
• Apply simple retouching techniques to remove imperfections.
• Add and format text to create posters or social media graphics.
• Crop, resize, and export images in formats suitable for web or print.

2. Exposure, Tone, and Color
   i. Following the photo-processing workflow.

   iii. Reading histograms and correcting levels.
   iv. Balancing colors across tonal ranges.
   v. Controlling hue, saturation, and lightness.

3. Layers, Masks, and Smart Objects

4. Selections, Blend Modes, and Effects
