- End of Support for Blackboard Original Course View
As announced by official Anthology support, the LEARN@PolyU Original Course View will no longer be supported after December 2026. A series of workshops will be organized to assist instructors in transitioning their courses to the new Ultra Course View.
- AI Writing Detection Percentage Now Available in Turnitin Assignment Inbox
The Turnitin assignment inbox now displays the AI Writing Percentage. This new feature allows instructors to easily view the AI detection percentages for all students directly from the inbox.

Latest IT Tools for Teaching and Learning
- AI Marking Assistant
AI Marking Assistant takes teacher grading profile, marking scheme, assignment question, and student submissions as input prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to run the inference on grades for specific submissions and provide personalized feedback to students.
Both Blackboard and Turnitin assignments are supported. AI Marking Assistant is currently available for teacher trial use upon request. Student submissions in typed or hand-written text, handwritten calculations, charts, as well as LaTeX-typed symbols or ChemEasy-created molecular structures have been successfully trialed. - The PolyU Generative AI (GenAI) Application
The PolyU Gen AI app is available to PolyU staff and students for use in teaching and learning, research and administrative activities. The Gen AI app will continue to be updated with the latest closed- or open-source models offering good price-to-performance ratios, allowing staff and students to optimize their free usage entitlement on Gen AI tools that best meet their needs.
