The Institutional Planning and Analytics Office (IPAO) and the Educational Development Centre (EDC) jointly organised a briefing session "2026 QS Reimagine Education Awards: Kick-start Your Application" on 19 March.
An IPAO colleague introduced the streamlined application procedures and highlighted important dates and key points for this year's application. Meanwhile, a colleague from EDC offered valuable insights into the requirements for various award categories and pathways, and provided tips for application writing.
Dr Richard Lui, Senior Lecturer from the Department of Computing, was invited to share his insights and experience as a finalist in 2024 and recipient of the Silver Award for "AI in Education (HE)" in 2025. He outlined his strategy in preparing the application, presenting at the QS Reimagine Education Awards and Conference and producing the video.
The briefing concluded with an informative discussion between Dr Lui and the participants, followed by a question-and-answer session regarding various application matters.
