Updated information on Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and vaccines

 

1. Government tightens boarding and quarantine requirements for various places

In view of the latest developments of the epidemic situation, Angola, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Zambia are specified as Group A specified places from 0.00am on November 30. Non-Hong Kong residents from these four places would not be allowed to enter Hong Kong. The most stringent quarantine requirements would also be implemented on relevant inbound travellers from these places. In the meantime, in view of the latest global developments of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Government will specify Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Israel and Italy as Group A specified places from 0.00am on December 2 to tighten the boarding and quarantine requirements for relevant inbound travellers.

2. Government tightens boarding and quarantine requirements for places with Omicron cases detected

The Government announced that in view of the latest global developments of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, Japan, Portugal and Sweden will be specified as Group A specified places from 0.00am on December 3 to tighten the boarding and quarantine requirements for relevant inbound travellers.

3. Government to launch pilot scheme on vaccination service using BioNTech vaccine at certain private healthcare institutions

The Government announced that, starting on December 6, the Government will run a pilot scheme for members of the public to receive the BioNTech vaccine at private healthcare institutions, with a view to further facilitating and encouraging vaccination by broadening the vaccination network of the BioNTech vaccine and providing more channels for vaccination.

4. Conditional free COVID-19 testing service continues for targeted groups

The Food and Health Bureau (FHB) announced that the free COVID-19 testing service will continue to be provided for eligible persons of targeted groups at community testing centres (CTCs).

2019冠狀病毒病及疫苗的最新資訊

 

1. 政府收緊多個地區的登機及檢疫要求

因應最新疫情發展,將由十一月三十日凌晨零時起指明安哥拉、埃塞俄比亞、尼日利亞及贊比亞為A組指明地區,從該四個地區來港的非香港居民不准入境,並對相關抵港人士實施最嚴格的檢疫要求。同時,按全球最新2019冠狀病毒病疫情發展,政府將於十二月二日凌晨零時起,指明澳洲、奧地利、比利時、加拿大、捷克共和國、丹麥、德國、以色列及意大利為A組指明地區,收緊相關抵港人士的登機及檢疫要求。

2. 政府收緊發現Omicron個案地區的登機及檢疫要求

政府公布,按全球最新2019冠狀病毒病疫情發展,於十二月三日凌晨零時起,將日本、葡萄牙及瑞典指明為A組指明地區,收緊相關抵港人士的登機及檢疫要求。

3. 政府於個別私營醫護機構試行接種復必泰疫苗

政府宣布,將由十二月六日起於私營醫護機構試行提供復必泰疫苗接種服務的先導計劃,以擴闊復必泰疫苗的接種網絡和提供額外接種渠道,進一步便利市民和鼓勵疫苗接種。

4. 政府繼續為特定群組提供有條件的免費2019冠狀病毒病檢測

食物及衞生局(食衞局)公布,會繼續為合資格的特定群組人士於社區檢測中心提供免費的2019冠狀病毒病檢測服務。
