Refresher Online Lab Safety Training

Starting from July 2025, all STRS training courses (except General Lab Safety Training) will require renewal every three years. Users who do not complete the required refresher training within the specified timeframe may have their laboratory access suspended by their departments.

To support compliance, each user will receive automated reminders for each required course at 90, 60, 30, 10, and 0 days before expiration. These notifications will include a direct hyperlink to the STRS platform for convenient access. Users will also be informed that laboratory access will be restricted upon expiration until the necessary renewal is completed.

To ensure a smooth transition, this new refresher requirement will be implemented in phases.
