New Safety Training Registration System (STRS) Now Live!

We - Update

We’re happy to announce the launch of the revamped Safety Training Registration System (STRS), which officially went live in late March 2025. This upgraded platform is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance online H&S training experience and management across the University.

Safety Training Registration System (STRS)

  • For network security, DHSOs or Departmental Administrators, please make sure you are connecting with the Staff VPN or using PolyU Wi-Fi networks (e.g., PolyUWLAN, eduroam).
  • If you are a new PolyU staff, please wait for 24 hours after creating your NetID to enrol in STRS. After successful enrolment in STRS, you need to wait for an additional 3 hours to access the Blackboard system for online training.

Users can view their full training history, including completed modules and certifications, all in one place. They can also download their training certificates directly from the header toolbar, making it faster and more convenient to access official records.

Improved Sponsorship Workflow by the DHSOs

Department Health and Safety Officers (DHSOs) and administrators can now quickly register visiting academics and research partners by creating Blackboard training accounts directly through STRS.

Easily verify users’ training status using filters like department, registration date, and other information.
