Summary

In this talk, master artist Mr Wallace Chan explores his creative journey and artistic philosophy, tracing the evolution of his interdisciplinary practice across diverse materials and scales—from gemstone carving and high jewellery to pioneering innovations in titanium, porcelain, and large-scale sculptures and installations. Mr Chan will share deep insights into curiosity, experimentation, materiality, and craftsmanship, reflecting on how embracing failure has shaped his creative vision and way of thinking over the decades. 

This talk offers the PolyU community an exceptional opportunity to draw inspiration from a master creator and deepen their appreciation for the arts and innovation.

This talk will be conducted in Cantonese.
