The PolyU Orchestra has officially established four dedicated chamber ensembles: the String Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. Chamber ensembles bring together elite selection of members selected by Mr Leung Kin-fung, Artistic Director and Conductor of the PolyU Orchestra, in recognition of their high standard of playing and dedication to the Orchestra. Building on the Orchestra’s chamber music activities, these ensembles were created to nurture our members’ musical development and provide them with expanded opportunities to collaborate, perform, grow together and cultivate artistic excellence. These specialised ensembles give members a platform to deepen their engagement with chamber repertoire. We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr Leung for his continued artistic guidance and support. His mentorship has greatly enriched our members’ musical development. We look forward to your continued support of the PolyU Orchestra Chamber Ensembles as they share the transformative power of music on campus, enriching the PolyU community and beyond. |
