PolyU BME warmly welcomes Dr Yanhuan HUANG, our new Research Assistant Professor!
Dr HUANG obtained her BSc in Nursing from Fudan University and both her MSc and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from PolyU.
Drawing on her clinical background and engineering expertise, her research focuses on brain-machine interface (BMI), flexible bioelectronics, neuroengineering, and robotic rehabilitation. She has extensive experience in robot-assisted randomized controlled trials, biosignal processing, and clinical translation of rehabilitation technologies.
Her recent work emphasizes the development of mobile BMI systems and multifunctional hybrid soft electrodes for neural interfacing and rehabilitation.
