Aims and Characteristics

Programme Aims

The programme has the following aims:

(a) To nurture socially responsible specialists with professional competence, strategic thinking and lifelong learning capability in biomedical engineering field.

(b) To foster a united community and provide students with advanced engineering knowledge and technology tools necessary for biomedical engineering practice.

(c) To enable students with critical thinking, problem-solving research skills, and innovation in biomedical engineering field. 

 

Characteristics

Students have the flexibility to select combinations of subjects that allow them to graduate with a specialism award as follows:

  • Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering

  • Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering (Rehabilitation Engineering)

  • Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering (Digital Health)
