For Our Future Scholarship 2024/25

One local undergraduate student and two local research postgraduate students received the For Our Future Scholarship 2024/25.

CHAN Yuk Ching from Department of Rehabilitation Sciences received the For Our Future Scholarship 2024/25, offered by The Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation. The Scholarship Scheme aims to recognise local students’ outstanding academic performance and dedication to community service.  This year, 300 applications were received and 16 scholarships were awarded to outstanding students among 14 local tertiary institutions.

In addition, CHAN Kin Ho from School of Optometry and WONG Tak Fai from Department of Health Technology and Informatics have been awarded the For Our Future Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2024/25. The For Our Future Innovation and Technology Scholarship is newly launched in the 2024/25 academic year, aiming to recognise full-time students pursuing a doctoral degree in STEM fields from the 7 local universities.

Prof. Horace MUI, Interim Dean of Students attended the Award Presentation Ceremony held on 1 April 2025 to share the joy with the three awardees.
