Biography
Dr Chung received his BSc in Statistics, MPhil in Statistics and PhD in Medical Sciences from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was a Graduate Statistician under the Royal Statistical Society in United Kingdom and obtained the Certificate in Big data and Social Analytics by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Starting from joining RS in 2006, Raymond has since acted as our departmental statistical consultant to our academic staff or students and provided support for undergraduate and graduate courses (RS2050 and RS517) related to statistics and research methods. He works in the field of Big data predictive analytics, Statistical modeling on public health and epidemiology as well as meta-analysis and systematic review of clinical trials. After joining the department for about two decades, he has successfully collaborated with our staff in publishing more than 50 manuscripts on high impact journals and also secured external research grants as a Co-I for both GRF and HMRF. Additionally, he possesses extensive experience in consultancy projects related to rehabilitation research.
