简历

李忠扬博士曾在澳洲、中国内地及香港工作,拥有广泛的临床经验,这有助他在康复工作上有效地实践职业治疗理论。他曾在澳洲大学任教,二十多年的教学经验使他在理大康复治疗科学系教学时更得心应手,亦有助于补充学系享有盛誉的职业治疗课程。李博士的学术背景、临床技术、在本地及国际间建立的网络都有助他的研究及教学工作。李博士透过提供小区服务,建立了大小不同的教学平台和研究合作关系,这对教育工作具有重要的战略意义。他卓越的教学工作获得了认可,包括在2005年至2014年期间,获澳洲国家教学办公室(堪培拉)、科廷大学(西澳洲)及其健康科学学院、科廷大学学生协会授予多个教学奖项。

 

李博士以者为本、小区为基础的研究工作引起了社会大众强烈的兴趣。在众多项目中,他特别着重研究有特殊需要的驾驶者的评估和安全,如年长的驾驶者和患有巴金森症、中风、认知障碍症或自闭症的驾驶者。他还从事上肢康复治疗的转译研究工作。此外,他亦为本地小区提供咨询服务,并与国内及国际组织合作,研究如何改善道路使用者的安全。他的研究有效提升患者的生活功能,令他们可以重新投入小区及职场。李博士由开始教学至今,已成功获得共115万澳元的研究资助,并在权威科学期刊上发表90科学文章和71篇期刊论文,以及撰写了五篇书本章节。李博士曾在科廷大学成功培训九位博士及六位硕士研究生。
