Dr Tak Pan Wong
Associate Professor,
Department of Psychiatry, McGill University, Canada

Dr Wong investigates the biological mechanisms underlying stress‑related psychiatric disorders. Using behavioral, electrophysiological, imaging, and molecular approaches, his research examines how stress alters neuronal communication in rodent models of anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia. This work aims to clarify how dysfunctional neural signaling contributes to psychiatric conditions and to provide a scientific basis for identifying potential therapeutic targets for stress‑related mental disorders.
