Biography
Dr. Yanhuan Huang is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She obtained her BSc in Nursing from Fudan University and both her MSc and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from PolyU. Drawing on her clinical background and engineering expertise, her research focuses on brain-machine interface (BMI), flexible bioelectronics, neuroengineering, and robotic rehabilitation. She has extensive experience in robot-assisted randomized controlled trials, biosignal processing, and clinical translation of rehabilitation technologies. Her recent work emphasizes the development of mobile BMI systems and multifunctional hybrid soft electrodes for neural interfacing and rehabilitation. Dr. Huang has published widely in leading journals such as Cyborg and Bionic Systems, Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation, Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience, and Engineered Regeneration. She also contributed to book chapters, and holds patents in neurorehabilitation and bioelectronics.
