PolyU Research Institute for Smart Ageing (RISA) has been formally established on May 1 2021. The aim of RISA is to facilitate the establishment and enhancement of interdisciplinary research and development in the area of smart ageing among PolyU colleagues so as to generate societal and research impacts, to secure big grants (>HKD2M), and to nurture juniors for their career development.
We aim to be a leading research institute that advances and transfers knowledge on smart ageing, for the benefit of Hong Kong, the nation and the world.
