RI-IWEAR Director Presented to the Microelectronics Technology Forum

The Microelectronics Technology Forum, held 35 August 2021, was organised to gather brilliant minds from universities in the top echelon, promising tech start-ups, investors and world-leading corporations to share their views on the latest trends and opportunities in microelectronics. The three-day forum covered global microelectronics trends, business opportunities in emerging technologies and critical research infrastructure.

presented flash talks at the forum:

Prof. Tim CHENG, Dean of Engineering, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Prof. Lance LI, Chair Professor, The University of Hong Kong

RI-IWEAR
Director Prof. Xiaoming TAO presented on the topic of “Microelectronics and Intelligent Wearable Systems”. She displayed a video showing RI-IWEAR’s research achievements and discussed the relationship between intelligent wearable systems and microelectronics as well as intelligent wearable technology based on microelectronics. 

The session also included a panel discussion related to critical research infrastructure. Prof. Xiaoming TAO participated in the discussion as a panelist and provided her opinions on this topic.
