Young scientists contribute to science and technology advancement
PolyU congratulated Prof. Raymond Wong Wai-yeung of the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology and Prof. Zheng Zi-jian of the Institute of Textiles and Clothing who were elected founding members of the Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences (YASHK) – a chapter of the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences. YASHK is comprised of 31 aspiring young scientists from various disciplines who are committed to promoting scientific research and science education and nurturing talent in science.
