摘要

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major morbidity and mortality internationally. Over the past 3-4 years, we have learnt a great deal about the SARS-CoV-2 virus and how it can affect various systems in our body. In this talk, Prof. Cheung will discuss learnings from 1) CANCOV, a Canadian longitudinal cohort study of COVID-19 across the spectrum of illness severity, 2) RECLAIM, a Canadian adaptive platform trial on interventions for the treatment of post-COVID condition, and 3) Long COVID Web, a national research platform for post-COVID condition in Canada. She will also discuss the current understanding of post-COVID condition (i.e. symptoms lingering long after the acute infection) and how COVID-19 changed the practice of medicine in Canada.
