Dr Xiao Hui-Hui was trained in Chinese medicine and has spent the past 15 years conducting research on the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases using herbal medicine and its active ingredients. Her research interests include efficacy assessment, bioactive components and fractions identification, molecular mechanism investigation, metabolomics, and gut microbiota.
