The Master in Translation and Language Technology (MATLT) programme is strategically designed to respond to the demand for translation and interpreting professionals who can expertly leverage language technology to perform language-related tasks in specific application scenarios of the modern language services industry.
Aligned with the university's strategic objectives, this programme equips graduates with the ability to adapt to and lead in the complex interplay between language and technology. They will be empowered not just to deploy technology, but to critically evaluate it, adapt it, and shape its development to serve accurate, ethical, and effective cross-lingual, cross-cultural communication in a globalized digital economy.
The programme is delivered in English, supplemented with Chinese (Putonghua/ Cantonese).
