Biography

Prof. Wu obtained his Ph.D. from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Before joining PolyU, he was an Associate Professor at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. He was an academic visitor at Lancaster University (2014) and a visiting scholar at The Pennsylvania State University (2016-2017). He is interested in exploring how computer and mobile technologies support language learning, examining the evolving practices of audiovisual translation on streaming platforms, and investigating the development of multiliteracies among language learners.
