Maggie Hui’s work focuses on translator and interpreter education, risk management in translation, and technology‑enhanced workflows (CAT, PEMT, AI) supported by self‑directed e‑learning platforms. She received faculty and departmental teaching excellence awards, and was a team awardee of the Faculty Awards for Outstanding Performance/Achievement (Services) in the Faculty of Humanities. She serves as CATTI (HK) Manager and as a CATTI Test Marker responsible for close‑loop marking and standards assurance. Hui leads internal T&L projects to build interpreting and language mediation platforms, collaborates with industry practitioners to enrich the curriculum, teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and presents on assessment design, AI/CAT integration, and translator risk management.
