Summary

Our world is facing a critical challenge of managing waste, and it is imperative for us to explore innovative solutions to tackle this issue. Our discussion will include an overview of Hong Kong’s plastic waste challenges. We will explore the transformative power of upcycling - a process that not only reduces waste but also adds value to discarded materials by giving them a new purpose and life, thereby minimizing our ecological footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future. We will also showcase inspiring examples of upcycling initiatives and explore how we can drive positive change in our communities.
