Summary
As China assumes an increasingly important role on the global stage, its foreign policy has attracted growing international attention. This distinguished event will feature insightful lectures by two eminent Ambassadors from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. They will share their expertise in diplomacy and foreign affairs, their personal diplomatic experiences, as well as perspectives on the theory and practice of China-Africa diplomacy. This seminar is one of the highlight events of the PolyU Chinese Culture Festival. Since last year, PolyU has actively promoted Chinese culture through a variety of artistic themes and enriching activities, fostering a sense of national pride among staff, students and the wider community. This year’s festival commenced in July, and the thematic seminar aims to deepen understanding of China’s foreign policy and international affairs, as well as to explore the challenges and opportunities the country faces in the field of diplomacy.
