Election of Student Members to Senate and Senate Committees 2025/26 - Nomination Period

The approved memberships of Senate and the following Committees of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University provide for 38 and 12 student members to be elected by and from full-time undergraduate (Ug) and taught / research postgraduate (T/RPg) students of the University respectively:

1. Senate
2. Board of College of Undergraduate Studies
3. Faculty Boards 
4. School Boards
5. Graduate School Board

In this connection, a centralised Election is to be conducted to elect student members to Senate and the above committees.  The elected members will be appointed to the committees concerned for a one-year term of office from 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2026, or as long as they remain to be bona fide** full-time students of the University.

The nomination period of the election starts from 9 September to 22 September 2025.  All nomination forms should be returned to the Academic Registry by email at senate.election@polyu.edu.hk by 11.59 p.m. on Monday, 22 September 2025.
