Biography
Dr. Hui Wang is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He received his Ph.D. degree in EEE from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2022, and then he joined HKU as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of EEE until 2023. After that, he worked at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) and Duke University as a Research Assistant. Starting in Apr. 2025, Dr. Wang joins the Department of EEE and is also a member of the Research Centre for Electric Vehicles at PolyU. His research interests include electric vehicle technologies, power electronics with artificial intelligence, wireless power transfer, and biomedical power electronics.
