Shanghai Art and Culture Tour - Art Exploration: "Wallace Chan: Vessels of Other Worlds"

The Shanghai Art and Culture Tour to Wallace Chan: Vessels of Other Worlds Dual-site Solo Exhibition, organised by the Federation of HK Jiangsu Women Organisations and in association with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), will be held from 20 to 23 August 2026.

This programme aims to lead participants to the dual-site exhibition, Wallace Chan: Vessels of Other Worlds, and to offer a valuable opportunity to interact with Mr Wallace Chan in person. Participants will also explore Shanghai's iconic cultural and artistic spots to experience the city's rich heritage and dynamic contemporary art scene. Additionally, the itinerary features visits to prestigious local universities for in-depth academic and cultural dialogues, thereby broadening participants' academic horizons and fostering cross-regional exchange. Furthermore, Mr Wallace Chan will host a lecture at the Jockey Club Auditorium (JCA) at PolyU on 28 September 2026 to share his creative philosophy and artistic practice.

Tour Fare: Free (fully funded); A deposit of HK$2,000 is required and will be fully refunded upon completion of the tour.

Lots will be drawn by computer to determine the successful applicants.
Successful applicants will be notified by email individually and must attend the Talk hosted by Mr Wallace Chan on 28 September 2026.
