"Echoes of Dreams" - A Tribute to Mr Chen Ning Chi

31 August 2025 (Sunday), 3 pm

Jockey Club Auditorium, PolyU

This concert will be conducted by Mr Wong Chi Wah and Mr Gary Cheung, bringing to the audience a selection of Chen’s ethnic orchestral and solo works composed over various periods, showcasing his delicate musical style. Additionally, the orchestra has invited two special guests: pianist Ms Au Yeung See Kee, who will perform as a soloist, and Dr Chang Hok Yan, Jim, former Chief Librarian of the Hong Kong Central Library, who will serve as the concert narrator. Dr Chang will share stories from Chen’s life, guiding the audience into “Mr Chen Ning Chi’s Musical Dreams” and reflecting on his remarkable journey.

A limited number of complimentary tickets are now being offered to PolyU students, staff and alumni on a first-come, first-served basis.
