PolyU Orchestra Auditions 2021/22 (Semester 2)

Become a member of the PolyU Orchestra and play under the baton of Mr Leung Kin-fung, First Associate Concertmaster of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra! The PolyU Orchestra is dedicated to performing and promoting orchestral music at a high artistic level.

Free membership is open to all PolyU students, staff and alumni. All musicians, particularly cello, viola, and brass players, are welcome!

As a member of The PolyU Orchestra, you can:

• Broaden your musical horizons
• Perform with renowned artists
• Join Overseas Exchange Programme
• Share the joy of making music and friends

You may also perform with PolyU Choir in March 2022!

Requirements:
A solo composition of your own choice lasting no more than 10 minutes to demonstrate your musicality (piano accompaniment and memorization are not required)

Members are required to attend the weekly rehearsals on Wednesday night and dress rehearsal. Rehearsal schedule will be announced in due course.

All candidates shall follow all requirements stated at the registration form when joining the auditions.
